Madrid, Spain

First Stop.

Madrid felt like New York City but smaller.  They have electric bicycles that you can rent and fly around the city at almost 50 kph. This kept me and Simon occupied for hours.

Also, we got (practically) field-side tickets to a Real Madrid game for 20 Euro a piece.  How?  We showed up at halftime.  Conveniently, Cristiano had a hat trick in the second half.

2 days was not enough – headed back up to Madrid in November.

  1. I’m not sure if my previous comment went through- so I apologize if this is a double! Thanks for blogging an update! We miss you! How awesome to catch a Cristiano game! The boys will be thrilled to hear all about it. Noah had quite an impressive soccer game on Saturday too! 🙂 Let’s plan a date/time to skype or facetime asap. Keep the pictures coming- they are wondeful. Love you.
